Music & Munch, an annual fundraiser to benefit the Therapeutic Arts Paraprofessional Training in Africa (TAPTA), took place on June 27, 2026 at Casper Brewing Company in Bloomington, Illinois. This was the 17th time this event was held. It featured nine hours of live music by musicians from northern and central Illinois, as well as raffle items, a silent auction, and a potluck with main courses provided by the hosts, Cathy Moon, Bruce Moon, Brea Moon-Wirth, and Brad Wirth.

The event is supported by a team of volunteers who share their musical talents, create raffle baskets, donate raffle and auction items, and work the day of the event collecting donations at the door, selling raffle tickets, and serving as rotating Masters of Ceremony.
An exact attendance number is difficult to determine, given that people come and go during the event. A conservative estimate would be 100-120 attendees. The event raised $2,741 which will be used to support small grants for East Africans who have completed the TAPTA trainings.
Cathy Moon — co-founder of TAPTA, Visitor Leadership Team member, and co-organizer of Music & Munch — was interviewed by public radio station WGLT to share about the event.
